Rafael Fleites, MD

Dr. Rafael Fleites is gastroenterologist at Advanced Gastroenterology and Surgery Associates (AGSA) with more than 30 years of medical experience.
A graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Fleites earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Miami Hospital Jackson Memorial before receiving his fellowship training in gastroenterology at Case Western University’s Metro Health Medical facility in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Fleites has had vast practice experience at hospitals and surgical centers throughout the South and Central Florida region – both before and after joining AGSA. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in gastroenterology and speaks both English and Spanish.
